Two trail stories. One national stage.

Some miles end at a finish line. These carried Ashir Abbas and Saim Abbas all the way to national television.

On 24 September 2026, the two runners joined Pakistan TV’s World This Morning to speak about an extraordinary stretch of trail running in Galiyat. The programme introduced viewers to Saim’s 120-kilometre effort across the region’s demanding mountain trails and the record he had pushed beyond.

Beside him was Ashir Abbas—WRC co-founder, ultra trail runner, and the youngest member of Pakistan’s National Backyard Ultra Team. Together, their appearance told a shared story of ambitious goals, hard-earned endurance and the community that keeps showing up behind them.

For Wah Run Club, it was a proud change of scenery: from forest tracks and mountain finishes to the morning-show studio. The setting was different, but the heart of the story stayed the same—young athletes discovering how far consistency, courage and good company can take them.
